Live in the Present!

Sometimes people can get carried away with the wishes of tomorrow, and the Memories of the past! However we need to learn to LIVE in the present and enjoy it! I love our Beloved Prophet Thomas S. Monson! He couldn't have said it any better!

“Sometimes we let our thoughts of tomorrow take up too much of today. Daydreaming of the past and longing for the future may provide comfort but will not take the place of living in the present. This is the day of our opportunity, and we must grasp it.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is my fathers 46^th Birthday! I called him this morning and sand Happy Birthday in Spanish! Ha and you know what he said? " Kaitlin I have 54 years left" I said what?! Well he said. " Kaitlin I want to go out with a bang"
haha oh my dad is my favorite! I love having long talks with him about life! Here are some of the reasons why I love my Father

1. He is kind and patient
2. He treats each and every one of us the same he doesn't play favorites, but he makes us ALL feel like we are his favorite J
   
3. He is such a hard worker
4. He is an amazing example
5. Teaches us life lessons
6. He his hilarious!! I can Laugh for DAYS with him!
7. I love it when he walks in the room and says, " Let me die with this philistines"" ha you would have to understand J he beats his chest while he does this Fyi

I know this church and the Book of Mormon is true! There is not a doubt in my mind! I love the Book Of Mormon! This couldn't have been said any better!

Sacred Falls :)

I FINALLY got to go on this incredible Hike! Its called Sacred Falls! It is seriously the most beautiful thing ever! I went with some awesome adventurous friends in Hawaii! It was just as beautiful as I would have imagined! We got to the waterfall and it was gorgeous! I am so thankful that I was able to do this hike! One weekend down , 6 more to go! I am so excited to see what the rest of the spring term holds :)

My Twentieth Birthday in Hawaii!! :)

Two of my amazing family friends flew down to Oahu from Maui to spend the day with me on my Birthday! I had so much fun with Debbie and Kip! They are some of the most adventurous people that I know! We went to Kuhuku Grill ( favorite place to eat here) and then we went Paddle Surfing! Its where you stand up on a surfboard and paddle instead of surf! It was so fun and a great workout! We even raced each other ( Kip won) but we don't talk about that :) Kip was trying to "entertain" us and he kept falling in! Ha I would have to say that this was one of my best birthdays yet! They are some of the most kind, loving, giving and caring people that I know! I am so thankful I was able to spend my 20th birthday with them in Hawaii :)

My Sweet Amazing Friend Mandie made my 20th Birthday night amazing!! We went and worked out for a little over and hour, then we went back to her dorm showered and changed! Then she treated me to Subway! Delicious!! Then she suprized me and had another friend Megan come and they both treated me to smoothies at Angels Shaved Ice! I thought this was SO sweet and thoughtful but no there is more! So I have been wanting to see the movie " The Last Song" FOREVER and Mandie knew that! The other day I had asked her if she wanted to go with me and she just didnt seem interested ha and now I know why! She then said and we have another surprize :) Megan ahd Mandie treated me to a movie and my favorite Candy Skittles! These girls are so sweet and I am extremely blessed to have such AMAZING girlfriends! IM 20 YEARS OLD!!

Welp its Official! I am now the big 20!! 2 Decades! I cant believe it! This birthday definitely snuck up on me. Usually I am always counting down the days, but with school , finals and being away from home it came way too quick! Its my first birthday away from home, but what a better place to spend it than Hawaii in PARADISE!! I cant wait to see how the day pans out! I am so blessed to have such caring family and friends! I love you all <3

My 20th Birthday in HAWAII!!

 

Waikiki Adventures! These are some of my Waikiki Adventures! This break was the best Vacation ever!!! I was able to do so much with such amazing girls! They are all so nice, selfless, sweet and caring girls! I loved this vacation so much! These are only a few of the pictures that we took... trust me :) ha more to come!

My amazing roomate!

This is my incredible roomate Olivia Evans! If you don't know her, well ... you're missing out on a good time, and I strongly suggest you get to know her and you do it quick! She is an amazing individual and a crack up! Never have I laughed so hard in my life! Its always a great time with her! I am so blessed to have had these 3 and a half months with her. It is something that I will always remember. Hawaii would not have been the same with out her. I loved staying up late with Olivia having deep talks about life, or just making the craziest music videos! This girl is one of my best friends and like I said before I thank my heavenly father every night for being able to spend this time with her. She is now back in AZ the Valley of the sun! I hope that she knows how much I truly miss her! It was one of the hardest things for me to say goodbye to her. But thank goodness I will get to see her in June and be reunited once again! love you livs!

I am turning 20.... not sure how I feel about that :P

I cant believe it! I am really turning 20! Where on earth did all the time go?! Seriously it feels like it was yesterday that my best friend Lindsay and I were having sleepovers after gymnastics and learning how to use a razor for the first time! Ha I am so thankful for the time I have been given. This life is seriously amazing! I love it so much! I have to say for being alive for 20 years I have surely been able to accomplish a lot! Graduate High School, Go to College, BYU-H ( this has seriously been a dream come true) I remember when I thought of 20 year olds I always thought that I had a gazillion years until I reached that age... it surely snuck up on me quick! You know... they always ask you when its your birthday " Do you feel older?" well its not quite my birthday yet but I have to say I already feel older. I am so thankful for another year of living! I cant wait to see what this year of being 20 has in store for me. I have had 19 INCREDIBLE years so far 2 decades baby!

Hawaii 2010

I am really bad at this whole blogging thing... haha but here is an updated picture! This is on Hukilau Beach! I was able to watch the sun rise which was beautiful! My major here is Exercise and Sports Science which I absolutely LOVE! I pretty much get to work out all the time for my classes! I love it here in Hawaii! It has seriously been the biggest, most incredible, decision in my life! I have made so many life long friends here. The people here are amazing and so kind, selfless and giving. I have learned so much about myself living out here. I love my family with all my heart! This gospel means everything and more to me. Aloha Hawaii <3
